Crazy Rich Asians‘ Jimmy O. Yang Joins Cast of Fantasy Island

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jimmy O. Yang (Crazy Rich Asians) has joined the cast of Blumhouse’s upcoming feature film adaptation of the ABC TV show Fantasy Island. He will play Brax, a guest who goes to the island with his older adoptive brother with the wish of “having it all.” He learns that when you have it all, there’s someone who wants what you have.

The film will be directed by Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare) from a script he wrote with Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs. The film follows a group of guests who go to the titular island, where Mr. Roarke (Michael Pena) tells them they may not get the fantasies they want. Blumhouse and Sony will co-finance and produce. Wadlow will executive produce with Couper Samuelson. Ryan Turek will oversee for Blumhouse and Matt Milam will oversee for Sony.
