Daniel Craig Injured Filming Bond 25, Undergoing Minor Ankle Surgery
Sounds like those rumors of an injury on the set of Bond 25 are true, as Daniel Craig is undergoing surgery. The official Twitter account for the James Bond franchise has announced that Craig will undergo minor ankle surgery after an injury filming in Jamaica and will be out for two weeks after the surgery.
Filming will continue while Craig is recovering, and the film will stay on track for its April 8th, 2020 release date.
The film stars Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Arma, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, and Rami Malek. Cary Joji Fukunaga directs from a script by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns, Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
