Deadpool Films, Logan Arriving on Disney+ Tomorrow

Disney+ is delving deeper into R-rated Marvel, with the Deadpool films and Logan coming to the platform tomorrow. Disney+ announced on Thursday that the three R-rated entries in the Fox X-Men franchise will arrive on Friday.

The announcement expands the more adult-oriented Marvel fare that has been made available on the service following the release of the Netflix Marvel shows (Daredvil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders) in March. At that time, Disney+ introduced parental control features to make sure that parents could moderate their children’s access to the R-rated shows.

Disney+ also has a new Daredvil series in the works, set in the MCU and starring Charlie Cox. A third Deadpool film is in the works with Shawn Levy set to direct, which has been confirmed to be rated R.
