Moon Knight Directors Tapped For Most Of Loki Season Two

Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are staying with Marvel after directing some of Moon Knight, as they’ll do the same for Loki’s second season. Deadline reports that the duo have signed on to co-direct a majority of the six episodes for the upcoming second season, which will be written by Eric Martin.

Michael Waldron, who was showrunner and writer for season one, is executive producing alongside star Tom Hiddleston. Benson and Moorhead (Synchronic) premiered their latest film, the well-received sci-fi/horror dark comedy Something In the Dirt, at Sundance last month. According to the outlet, the shoot for Moon Knight went so well that Marvel looked for projects that they could put the two on immediately.

Plot details are not yet known for the new season of Loki, though Owen Wilson recently confirmed he’ll be back as Mobius and that filming should start “pretty soon.”
