Disney Officially Delays Black Widow, Pushes Back Other Films

The expected has happened: Marvel’s Black Widow has been delayed to next year, while several other films (MCU and not) have also been pushed back. Walt Disney Studios has announced that the Scarlett Johansson-starring MCU film will release on May 7th, 2021 instead of its previously-scheduled November 6th release date.

The move is of course due to the pandemic and the state of theaters right now. Black Widow was originally set to release in May of this year but was pushed out in April.

In addition, Disney has delayed Marvel’s Eternals from February 12, 2021 to November 5, 2021. Shang Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings is moving from May 7th, 2021 to July 9th, 2021. You can see a full list of release date changes below:
