Don Cheadle To Narrate ABC’s Wonder Years Reboot Pilot

The Wonder Years reboot set up at ABC has gotten an MCU infusion in Don Cheadle, who will narrate the pilot. THR reports that Cheadle will serve as the narrator, the adult version of lead role Dean Williams, in the pilot for the series.

The younger version of the character will be played by Elisha Williams, who stars alongside Dulé Hill and Saycon Sengbloh as Dean’s parents and Laura Kariuki as his older sister. The original series was narrated by Daniel Stern, who played the adult version of Fred Savage’s Kevin Arnold.

The series is being developed by Saladin Patterson, Lee Daniels and original series star Fred Savage. Set in 1968 Montgomery, Alabama, it will center on the middle-class Williams family.
