Ewan McGregor has been vocal about wanting to go back to a galaxy far, far away, and he may have his chance. Deadline reports that McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels, is in talks to reprise the role for a Disney+ series.

The series has yet to be titled, and details are under wraps per Deadline. Ewan McGregor has been interested in playing Obi-Wan again for some time, and there were plans to do a stand-alone spinoff film for him, but those were waylaid by Solo’s failure. The film idea has since “morphed” into the current big-budget series. It is not known if this will be a limited episode-count series like the Marvel spinoffs on Disney+, or a somewhat more extended show like The Mandalorian.

Disney+ also has a Rogue One spinoff with Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk reprising roles of Cassian Andor and K-2S0.
