First Image of Darth Vader In Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Revealed

Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives in May on Disney+, and a new image has revealed the first photo of Darth Vader from the series. EW revealed the image which you can see below, with Vader (Hayden Christensen) flanked by his meditation chamber.

Christensen was asked by EW if the image suggests that we might see him without the helmet, and said with a smile, “I wish I could tell you. I’m sworn to secrecy.” He also promised that we would see “a very powerful” iteration of the character.

Obi-Wan Kenobi launches on May 25th and stars Ewan McGregor, Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. It is described as follows:

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
