First Look at Joaquin Phoenix In Joker: Folie à Deux As Production Starts

Filming has begin on Joker: Folie à Deux, and the first look at Joaquin Phoenix in the Joker sequel is online. Writer-director Todd Phillips posted a photo to his Instagram account of Phoenix as Arthur Fleck in the sequel, and you can check it out below.

The film sees Phoenix and Zazie Beetz return to the roles they played in the 2019 hit alongside Lady Gaga (as Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn), Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, and Jacob Lofland. Plot details have yet to be revealed about the film, which Phillips co-wrote with Scott Silver. It is set to release on October 4th, 2024.
