Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Won’t Be Seeing Release For a While, According to Kevin Feige
Kevini Feige says that fans hoping for word on when Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will release should probably temper those expectations. Feige spoke with Collider and said that the film is currently in a holding pattern as far as its production status.
“I mean, when it was pushed back, it was pushed back,” Feige said. “Meaning the release date, because it’s not coming out — although we’ve never announced a release date actually, but it was gonna happen sooner rather than later, initially of course. Outside of knowing that we’re gonna use [James Gunn’s] draft, [we have] been focusing on other projects.”
Marvel has a busy slate going forward, though its specific plans are being kept secret until Avengers: Endgame releases. For now, it appears Guardians of the Galaxy 3 isn’t one of those immediate plans.
