Hannah John-Kamen Weighs in on Possibility of Ghost Returning to the MCU
Hannah John-Kamen played one of the MCU’s more sympathetic antagonists in Ant-Man & The Wasp, and she hinted at the chance Ghost could return. John-Kamen spoke with Yahoo! Movies UK and was asked about the possibility of the character, who served as one of the adversaries to Scott Hang and Hope Pym in the film, making a return.
“In the MCU, you have to sign your contract with blood and they stitch your mouth together,” she said before adding, “All I can say is that Ghost didn’t die.”
It must be said that regarding that last sentence, it’s not clear whether she means during the events of Ant-Man & The Wasp or during the events of Infinity War. At that point, of course, Thanos snapped half the world out of existance and they didn’t return until five years later. While she would be able to potentially reprise the role whether she was subject to the Snap or not, Ghost very quickly going from her adventure with the Pyms and Scott into nothingness and then back could result in some hefty ramifications for the character.
As of now, Marvel has not announced a third Ant-Man film but considering the success of the first two, it does seem likely at some point.
