HBO Max Begins Production on Batgirl Film

Cameras are rolling on Batgirl, with production on the HBO Max film now underway. Adil El Arbi, who is co-directing the DCEU film alongside Bilall Fallah, posted to Instagram to reveal that the first day of production on the movie took place.
The film will star Leslie Grace as the titular hero, aka Barbara Gordon. J.K. Simmons is reported to be in talks to reprise his role as Commissioner Gordon in the film, which was written by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee, Birds of Prey). The film will release exclusively on HBO Max.
