Jeffrey Dean Morgan Returning For 300th Episode of Supernatural

Entertainment Weekly reports that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is returning to play John Winchester in the 300th episode of Supernatural, returning to the show after over eleven years. He will appear in the episode titled “Lebanon,” which airs on February 7 at 8 PM ET. Morgan last appeared in the season two finale “All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 2,” where his soul escaped Hell to help Sam and Dean kill Azazel, the yellow-eyed demon that killed their mother.

Of course, things are much different on the show now, including the fact that their mother, Mary Winchester, was resurrected a couple of years ago.

Co-showrunner Andrew Dabb said in a statement: “We’re incredibly excited to have Jeffrey back for this milestone episode, and think fans will love what we have planned for his character… and a few other surprise guest stars.“
