Jeremy Renner was seriously injured during a snow-plowing accident on Sunday, and is in “critical but stable” condition. Deadline reports that the Hawkeye star was airlifted to a Reno hospital yesterday, with his spokesperson telling the outlet that Renner is in “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow.”

The Washoe County Sheriff’s told the site that officers “responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada” at 9 AM and arranged for Renner’s medical transport to a local area hospital. A new report on Monday included a new statement from his reps which read:

“We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.

Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families. They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

Renner is best known for his role as Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, in the MCU. He is also the star of the Paramount+ series The Mayor of Kingstown and is a two-time Oscar nominee.
