Josh Hartnett Is a Serial Killer In Trailer For M. Night Shyamalan’s Trap

M. Night Shyamalan’s latest film Trap stars Josh Hartnett as a serial killer, and the first trailer for the film is online. Warner Bros. released the first trailer for the thriller on Thursday, and you can check out the preview below.

The trailer sees Hartnett’s character taking his daughter Jody to a concert for pop star Lady Raven, and as he heads to the bathroom he realizes that police are thgere to catch a serial killer — namely, him.

Trap is written and directed by Shyamalan and stars Hartnett, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Marnie McPhail. Releasing on August 9th, it is described as follows:

A father and teen daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event.
