Jurassic World Writer Tapped For Transformers & G.I. Joe Crossover Movie

Paramount has found the writer for their upcoming G.I. Joe & Transformers movie in Jurassic World writer Derek Connolly. THR reports that Connolly has signed on the write the screenplay for the upcoming untitled movie, which is set to star Chris Hemsworth.

Plot details are being kept under wraps for the film, which will bring together the two IPs into one story. The film will follow on the events of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts which saw Anthony Ramos’ protagonist Noah Diaz being invited to join the G.I. Joe team.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, Michael Bay, Tom DeSanto and Don Murphy are producing the crossover film with Steven Spielberg and Hasbro Entertainment executive producing.
