Krysten Ritter To Make Directorial Debut During Jessica Jones Season 3
Deadline reports that Krysten Ritter will make her directorial debut during the third season of Marvel and Netflix’s Jessica Jones. The third season began filming recently in New York City. Details about the episode Ritter will direct have not been revealed.
She said: “I am beyond thrilled to make my directorial debut on Marvel’s Jessica Jones. The entire crew and cast has become family to me, and I’m so appreciative of the opportunity to work with our incredible team in this new way. I am so grateful that Melissa Rosenberg, Jeph Loeb, Marvel, and Netflix entrusted me to take the reins.”
The series stars Ritter, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss and Eka Darville. Melissa Rosenberg is the creator and showrunner. Rosenberg also executive produces with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. It’s produced by Marvel Television with ABC Studios for Netflix.
