Les Moonves Won’t Face Charges on Sexual Abuse Claims Due to Statute of Limitations

CBS head Les Moonves will not face charges on claims he sexually abused a woman in 1986 and 1988 due to the statute of limitations having expired. TMZ reports that according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, the statute has expired on the claims, which where filed by an unidentified woman in February.

The woman is named as an acquaintance of Moonves’, who knew him through her job in television. She alleged that Moonves forced oral sex in 1986 and committed indecent exposure and assault in 1988.

Moonves, the CEO of CBS Corporation, is under investigation by the network after multiple women accused him of sexual harassment and misconduct.
