AEW TBS Champion Hikaru Shida recently shared the two things that she wants to tick off her bucket list in the future. Shida appeared on AEW Close Up this week. During the conversation, she expressed her desire to again wrestle in CMLL and perform in an All Elite Wrestling show in Japan.
Shida is, of course, no stranger to competing in CMLL. She had a brief excursion in the promotion back in 2012. Here’s what she said:
“There’s so many things I want to do. I want to wrestle all over the world, especially CMLL. I wrestled for CMLL a long, long time ago. I loved it so much so I really want to go back there. This is my big dream but not for Forbidden Door. An AEW show in Japan. That’s my big, big dream.”
Hikaru Shida is a three-time AEW Women’s World Champion. The 38-year-old Japanese pro wrestler is currently in her first reign as AEW TBS Champion. She captured the then-vacant title by winning the Survival of the Fittest Match on the July 1 episode of Dynamite. The veteran notched up her maiden successful defense at the expense of Harley Cameron this past Saturday on Collision.
