Morbius is coming in January, and a new trailer for the Spider-Man Universe film reveals more story details and a look at the titular character’s vampiric visage. Sony Pictures released the trailer for the comic book adaptation, which you can check out below.

The trailer goes over the story beats from the previous trailer as Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) seeks a cure for the disease that affects him and others across the world, only to be transformed into a living vampire. We see footage of all the supporting characters and Morbius being hunted by the authorities. There’s also another tease of Michael Keaton’s character (who may or may not be his MCU character of Vulture) and, at the end, a little Venom joke from the good doctor.

Morbius releases on January 22nd and is directed by Daniel Espinosa from a script by Matt Sazama & Burk Sharpless. It stars Leto, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson and is described as follows:

One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?
