Netflix Announces Main Cast For Resident Evil Series

Netflix has announced the primary cast for their upcoming Resident Evil live-action series. The service announced on Friday that the cast of the series includes John Wick star Lance Reddick along with Ella Balinska, Adeline Rudolph, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, and Paola Nuñez.

While most of the character names are not yet revealed, it was noted that Reddick will play Albert Wesker, the evil head of Umbrella Corporation. The series will run eight one-hour episodes and comes from Andrew Dabb, who will showrun, write, and executive produce.

The series will be set between two timelines that feature the same protagonist, one of which follows two fourteen-year-old sisters named Jade and Billie who have just moved to New Raccoon City and learn that their father is hiding dangerous secrets like the rest of the city. The other timeline follows Jade in her thirties when the T-virus has run rampant.
