New Doctor Who Season 2 Trailer Released by Disney+

Disney+ and BBC released the first glimpse at the next season of Doctor Who following the latest christmas special, “Joy to the World.” The new teaser trailer offers an early look at what’s next for The Fifteenth Doctor’s (Ncuti Gatwa) second season. You can view the new teaser trailer below.

Season 2 will feature Varada Sethu as the new companion of the Doctor in the Tardis named Belinda Chandra. Sethu previously appeared in the series in the 2024 episode, “Boom,” portraying the character Mundy Flynn. It’s unknown how or if the two characters are connected.

In the new season, The Doctor meets Belinda Chandra, sparking an epic quest to return her to Earth. However, a mysterious force is blocking their return, and the duo must face great dangers, bigger enemies, and wider terrors than ever before.

Doctor Who Season 2 debuts later in 2025 on Disney+.
