The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It veers away from the main franchise’s haunted house trappings, and a new video teases what’s to come. Warner Bros. Pictures has released a brand featurette for the film, which you can check out below. It features producer James Wan and director Michael Chaves discussing the film’s departure from the first two films, and how it was influenced by Seven.

The film opens in theaters and on HBO Max on June 4th and stars Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard. Inspired by a case the real-life Warrens worked, is described as follows:

The Devil Made Me Do It reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
