Rob Liefield Thinks Stryfe Could Be The Villain Of X-Force

In an interview with Nerdist, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld said that Cable’s genetic clone Stryfe could be the villain of the upcoming X-Force movie.

He said: “Well, do you really hire Josh Brolin if you don’t want him to play both roles? We are perfectly assembled for an X-Force movie. And how do you not scratch that Stryfe itch, right?”

Stryfe first appeared in New Mutants issue #100 as the leader of the Mutant Liberation Front. He was kidnapped and raised by Apocalypse and followed the original Cable to our time. He also created the Legacy Virus, a deadly disease for mutants.
