Robert Englund To Play Freddy Krueger Again For The Goldbergs

The last time Robert Englund donned the Freddy Krueger makeup on-screen was fifteen years ago for 2003’s Freddy vs. Jason. Outside of some sporadic convention appearances, he never went through the process again. However that has changed, as the actor will once again wear the fedora and glove for the upcoming Halloween episode of ABC’s The Goldbergs.

The episode will be called “Nightmare on Elk Avenue”. The series debuted in 2013 and stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin, Sean Giambrone, Troy Gentile, Hayley Orrantia, George Segal, AJ Michalka and Sam Lerner.
