Samuel L. Jackson To Reprise Nick Fury In New Disney+ Series

Nick Fury is at it again, with Samuel L. Jackson set to star in a new MCU series for Disney+. Variety reports that Jackson is set to play the superspy who was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. that he has played since 2008’s Iron Man in a series written and executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot).

Plot details are under wraps at this time for the series, which has yet to be officially announced. Jackson has played Fury in eleven of twenty-three MCU films, most recently in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and played the role in two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He was last seen on a Skrull ship at the end of Far From Home.

Disney+ has a host of Marvel shows in the works including the upcoming WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel all in various stages of development or production.
