Scream VI Directors Tease a ‘More Brazen’ Ghostface For Sequel

Scream VI will see Ghostface back in action, and the sequel’s directors have teased a more confident and dangerous killer. Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin spoke with Total Film (per Games Radar) about the film, which moves the action to New York City, and talekd about how they made the new killer a more aggressive version than previous entries. A couple of highlights are below:

Bettinelli-Olpin on Ghostface in the film: “We wanted to make this really different, while still having all the stuff you love. Having a bolder, more brazen Ghostface was a big part of that.”

Gillett on the film being written before the fifth film was released: “[That let Scream VI] confidently be what it is. It really moves like it’s on rocket fuel. You sit down, it starts, and the movie is just a ride. You get off two hours later, and you feel like you haven’t taken a breath.”

The film arrives on March 10th and stars Courteney Cox, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Dermot Mulroney, Samara Weaving, Tony Revolori, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato and Josh Segarra. It is described as follows:
