Sony Pulls Spider-Man Spin-Off Silver & Black From Schedule

Sony has put the brakes on their Silver & Black Spider-Man universe film, pulling it from their release schedule. Exhibitor Relations reports that Sony has removed the film, which wasz originally set to be relerased on February 8th, 2019, entirely from their calendar.

The film was planend to be directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love and Basketball, The Secret Life of Bees), who wrote the first draft of the script. It would have featured the characters of Silver Sable and Black Cat as lead characters. Prince-Bythewood described the film last summer as “the story of two damaged women who are at war with each other but need each other to survive.”
