Taron Egerton Believes Kingsman 3 Will Start Filming In 2023

During an interview on the Sirius XM show The Jess Cagle Podcast with Julia Cunningham, Taron Egerton revealed that Kingsman 3 is expected to begin filming in 2023 although he made clear things can change and it is not 100%.

“My understanding is that we are to be shooting the third installment in my saga I believe next year,” he said (h/t to JoBlo). “But you know, don’t listen to what I say because I don’t really know. You know, they’re grown up decisions.”

Egerton noted that there “there is a script” but said that he’s a “humble pawn in the equation,” meaning that he isn’t making the decisions in the franchise. The franchise has grossed $946.2 million worldwide with the most recent, The King’s Man, releasing in December of last year.
