The Last Of Us Season 2 Set for April 13 Debut on HBO

HBO and Warner Bros. Discovery announced the debut date for the upcoming second season of the hit television series, The Last Of Us. The seven-episode second season will debut on Sunday, April 13 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on HBO. The series will also be available to stream on Max.

Season 2 is set five years after the events of the first season. Joel and Ellie are soon drawn into a conflict with each other and a world that’s become even more dangerous and predictable than the one they left behind.

Returning cast members for Season 2 include Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. New cast members for Season 2 include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. Catherine O’Hara also guest stars in the new season.

Based on the hit video game franchise developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation Consoles, the series is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. It’s co-produced with Sony Pictures Television and also executive produced by Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells; with writer/co-executive producer Halley Gross.

The first season of The Last Of Us is available to stream now on Max.
