The Munsters Go Color In First Teaser For Rob Zombie’s PG Remake
Rob Zombie is venturing into PG land for his remake of The Munsters, and the first teaser trailer brings the monster family into the world of color. Universal Pictures has released the first teaser for the upcoming film, which is written and directed by Zombie. You can see the preview below which features Herman Munster (Jeff Daniel Phillips), Lily (Sheri Moon Zombie) and Grandpa (Daniel Roebuck) exiting the family home at 1313 Mockingbird Lane to the iconic classic theme song. We then see, after the title card, the three in color sitting on the couch confused as Grandpa says, “Well… now what?”
The film also stars Richard Brake, Sylvester McCoy, Jorge Garcia, Catherine Schell, Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson, Dee Wallace, and more. It is rated PG — a first for the horror director, whose previous films have been R or unrated — for “macabre and suggestive material, scary images and language.” There is no official synopsis yet.
