Thor: Love & Thunder Will Feature the Guardians of the Galaxy

Vin Diesel let it drop in a new interview that, as many hoped, the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in Thor: Love & Thunder in some capacity. Fans have been speculating on the possibility that the space-based team will appear in the fourth Thor since the God of Thunder flew off with them after the events of Avengers: Endgame. While promoting Bloodshot, Diesel confirmed (per ComicBook.com) that this will indeed come to pass.

Diesel talked about Guardians 3 and said, “I am waiting and excited for my friend James Gunn to knock this next one out of the park. He took The Suicide Squad so he’s about to embark on it. Thor will also, the director talked to me about Thor will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy.”

He then added, “That’ll be very interesting, nobody knows, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”

Diesel did not provide any more details beyond that, so it’s not clear if this means any of the Guardians will have significant roles or perhaps just appear in a cameo. Taika Waititi is set to direct Thor: Love & Thunder which releases on November 5th, 2021.
