How To Train Your Dragon 3 Gets Official Title

Coming Soon reports that the third film in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise will be called How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. It will be released by Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation on March 1, 2019. Dean DeBlois will direct a voice cast that includes Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Kit Harington, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Kristen Wiig, Craig Ferguson and F. Murray Abraham as the villain Grimmel. It’s produced by Brad Lewis and Bonnie Arnold.

Here’s a synopsis: How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is the much-anticipated culmination of one of the most beloved animated film franchises in history. As Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) fulfills his dream of creating a peaceful dragon utopia, Toothless’ discovery of an untamed, elusive mate draws the Night Fury away.
