Valak Returns In The Nun II Trailer

The next film in the Conjuring universe arrives in September with The Nun II, and the trailer provides our first look at Valak’s return. Warner Bros. Pictures released the first trailer for the film on Thursday, and you can check it out below.

The preview sees Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga), who faced off with the demonic nun in the first film, once again faced with Valak four years after her first encounter with the entity. This time she’s teaching at a school where the students are being threatened by Valak, forcing her to battle them a second time.

The film arrivs on September 8th and is directed by Michael Chaves from a script by Ian Goldberg & Richard Naing and Akela Cooper. It stars Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, and Bonnie Aarons and is described as follows:

1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun.
