Let the Pigeons Loose…

Reminder, I do not rate matches that are under three minutes long…

-Opening video package, highlighting the demise of Eric Bischoff.

-Taz and Tenay welcome us to the show.

Ric Flair is in the ring to open the show. Hogan always plays games with him, and Hogan thinks that Flair is one of his pawns. Flair doesn’t buy it, because he is Ric “G-O-D” Flair. Anyway, last week Garett Bischoff ran Eric out of the business, and Flair says he and Hogan will talk tonight because he is pissed. Flair runs down his expensive outfit and calls Hogan out.

Hogan answers and heads out to the ring. Flair says that this is good vs. evil, and Hogan is good, and Flair is the baddest man on the planet. Flair discusses taking Dixie Carter back to the hotel, and Hogan says he is not here to fight. Hogan then says as the GM he will make it a priority to step things up. Hogan then says Bischoff is the evil one, brother, so with all of that being said he takes his job seriously dude. He hung his boots up, and they have the chance to make IMPACT have a long run and they can do it together. And since Hogan is the boss he will ask him to be a judge for Gut Check. Hogan realizes with Flair judging talent, we all have a chance to live through the new talent. Flair can teach them like no one else. Flair thinks it is a set up, and Hogan then says he is asking Flair to do something for the fans. Hogan says he doesn’t need to respect Flair, he just needs him to be Ric Flair. Flair says he has no choice and then says he will do it.

-Velvet Sky calls Gail Kim a cheater. Brooke Tessmacher then says no one gave her a chance, but she already beat her twice. Sky then says one of them will beat Kim for the title.

-RVD is in the ring and awaits his opponent, who will be picked by Bobby Roode. RVD says he knows he is loved, and has been amazing people for years. He will discuss them anyway because he is RVD, the whole FN show, Mr. PPV. He is also the man who will beat Bobby Roode. He’s excited about it, and reminds us he never lost the world title.

Bobby Roode comes out now, and says that he was in the back and heard how over confident RVD sounds. He knows RVD has been on a hiatus, but Roode is here to remind him who he is. Bobby Roode, the it factor of pro wrestling and the leader of the selfish generation. He is also our world champion. The most dominant champion in the history of TNA. He beat AJ, Hardy, Sting, Storm, and at Sacrifice, he will add RVD’s name to the list. Now as for tonight, they are allowed to select each other’s opponent. So as the great champion he is, he will allow RVD to reveal his opponent for tonight. RVD says he picked Mr. Anderson. Roode laughs it off and says it is great. Ray does what he does because he can. Austin Aries now makes his way out to the ring, and says Ray picks on lawyers. Ray warns him not to get into the ring, so Aries does. Aries only cares about Ray and himself. Ray called him out, and all he could call Aries out on is his size.
