-Michael Cole is our host and narrator.

-I assume his debut will be our 10th moment because this show has a pattern they follow.

10. Born from The Fire
Badd Blood 97

-Yep, it’s Kane’s debut as he attacks The Undertaker as he is about to finish Shawn Michaels inside Hell in a Cell. He rips the door off the cell, has fire shoot from the posts and then gives Taker a ugly looking Tombstone. He would get better. Kane says he finally felt like a WWE Superstar and calls it the greatest debut in WWE history. I am sure we can think of others.

9. A Major League Tombstone
WrestleMania XIV

-Pete Rose heeling on the Boston fans is tremendous. To the fans, Kane may have seemed like a hero giving Pete the Tombstone, but I wanted Pete to keep going. It became a running gag as Pete was dropped on his head at Mania XV and took a choke slam at WM 2000. Pete deserved that Hall of Fame nod.

8. Ring of Fire
-Unforgiven 1998

-The first Inferno Match with Kane vs. Taker and it was a heck of a visual. Kane thinks it’s the best match ever between the two. I would still pick the first meeting at Mania XIV. Kane’s arm gets set on fire and he ruins the magic as he talk about having a fake sleeve made. Protect the business brother!

7. Monster Unmasked
-RAW: June 23, 2003

-Kane has to beat HHH for the World Title or unmask. Considering this was during the Reign of Terror, Kane was losing that mask. Orton helps HHH win. Kane says he was nervous, but realized this was a chance to take Kane in another direction. Seth Rollins says it was terrifying. Really? Kane says the crowd reaction was what they wanted. I do like the story that the scars were mental and he really didn’t need the mask.

6. Chokeslam to Hell
-RAW: June 30, 2003

-A week later as Kane is now unhinged and on the loose. He has Evolution running for the heels and then chokeslams Bischoff off a stage through a table. Eric is used to a bump like that. Kane says it was a great time for the character as they had a blank slate.

5. Kane Steals The Show
-SmackDown: March 28, 2002

-Famous segment here as Kane steals the show in a backstage interview with The Rock and Hulk Hogan. Great stuff as Kane cuts a promo like The Rock and Hogan. The crowd loses it and the facial reactions from Rock and Hogan are great. Kane says it was an homage to Hogan and talks about how much fun it was. I forget the promo was to hype that night’s Main Event: Hogan, Rock, Kane vs. Hall, Nash, and X-Pac. That’s a heck of a TV Main Event.

4. Brother vs. Brother
-Night of Champions 2010

-Kane is World Champion and defends against Taker in a No Holds Barred Match. Kane gets a clean victory over Undertaker and Kane notes it showed he was “for real for real.”

3. Kane Unhinged
-RAW: July 14, 2003

-The infamous backstage interview where Kane sets “JR” on fire. Carmelo says as a kid you questioned if that really happened. Yep, sure did!

-Commercials!

2. Monster in The Bank
-Money in The Bank 2010

-Kane wins Money in The Bank at the first MITB PPV and then cashes in the same night on Rey Mysterio. It turned Kane heel and showed someone can cash in the same night you win the briefcase. Good moment and a needed one just to show it was possible.

1. Buried in Flames
-Royal Rumble 98

-Kane comes down to save The Undertaker in his casket match against Shawn Michaels but it’s a ruse as Kane assaults Taker and slams him in the casket (giving Shawn the win). Kane then set the casket on fire as Taker has another bad Rumble experience. Taker continues with the idea that Kane vs. Taker is the best story ever told in WWE.

-I have never been a huge fan of the Kane character. He’s fine and plays the role needed perfectly, but I never got into the character like others. This was a good list and they hit the expected notes. I am shocked they didn’t include his lone WWE Title win. It ended Austin’s initial Title Reign as well. That one is the big miss for me. You could also throw in his Rumble 2001 performance and likely winning the ECW Title at Mania in six seconds of whatever it was. Thanks for reading!
