WWE alumnus Abraham Washington spent a month in the hospital due to an intestinal tear. Washington, real name Brian Jossie, had to have surgery as revealed by his partner Marnae June Barnum in a post on her Instagram account.
PWInsider notes that Jossie was taken to the ER after a show in July due to his having severe stomach pains, which was determined to be an intestinal tear. He underwent surgery which was successful; however, he aspirated and fluid went into his lungs. He ended up being put into an induced coma and was on life support
Barnum wrote (per PWInsider:
“After almost a month in the hospital, Brian is finally home! What a crazy, unexpected month August has been. I’m just so grateful to have him alive and here with me. Just last week, he could barely sit on the edge of his bed without help. Today, when we were leaving they went to get a wheel chair, he refused, and he insisted on walking out on his own with me.”
On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Jossie for a quick and full recovery.
