Action Andretti Says His Title Match at ROH Death Before Dishonor Was About Reminding Everyone Who He Is

Action Andretti picked up a huge win last night at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2026. He defeated Lio Rush to win the ROH World TV Title. It’s the first ROH singles title of his in-ring career. Andretti spoke about his title victory during the Death Before Dishonor post-show media scrum. Below are some highlights (via aFightful):

Action Andretti on Winning His First ROH Singles Title

“This is my first singles title here in Ring of Honor and AEW, and I said it after the match: That match just wasn’t about becoming the new Ring of Honor Television Champion. That match wasn’t just about ending my feud with Lio Rush. That match was to remind everybody who the **** Action Andretti is!”

On His Alliance with The Opps and If He’s Spoken With Samoa Joe

“Joe’s a busy man. He’s on the big screen right now making TV shows so, I’m sure we’ll be seeing him very soon, and I think he’ll be pretty happy to see me with The Opps as the Ring of Honor Television Champion.”

For Andretti, this is the biggest win of his career since he shocked the world by beating Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming on December 14, 2022.
