AEW Dynamite closed out 2025 on New Year’s Eve, and the show took a small dip in the ratings while the audience was also down. Wednesday’s New Year’s Smash show scored a 0.07 rating and 398,000 viewers per Wrestlenomics.
Those numbers are down 12.5% and 22.1% respectively from the Christmas Eve show’s 0.08 demo rating and 511,000 viewers. Both metrics were the lowest for the show since the October 7th episode scored a 0.07 and 321,000 viewers.
As a reminder, Nielsen has changed its ratings system as of early September, which makes ratings difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. That said, AEW Dynamite averaged a 0.143 demo rating and 586,000 viewers in 2025 compared to a 0.229 and 701,000 in 2024. That’s a drop of 37.5% in the demo and 16.4% in total viewers.
