Alberto el Patron Remains Suspended by GFW

According to PWinsider.com, as of this morning Alberto el Patron remains suspended by GFW following a July airport incident with Paige. Patron has been cleared of wrongdoing in the incident as authorities determined Paige started the issue.

Patron is scheduled to main event Thursday’s Destination X event. The site adds that the decision to keep Patron suspended rests firmly on the shoulders of Anthem VP Ed Nordholm, who is in charge of GFW. Patron has not appeared for the company (and according to some sources, has been paid) by the promotion since the decision was made to suspend him.

GFW holds Destination X on Thursday the 17th, and then tapes TV from the 18th through the 22nd, which will be all episodes of Impact leading up to Bound For Glory.
