Andrade El Idolo Set To Compete At HOG’s City Of Angels Event

Andrade El Idolo is set to compete at House of Glory’s City of Angels event later this month. The event will take place at the iconic Globe Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on January 30.

HOG shared the following on its X handle earlier today:

Andrade El Idolo returned to action last month at WWC Lockout 2025, when he battled Xavant and captured the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship. His previous match before this was in October 2025, when he squared off with DMT Azul. Interestingly, he had shown up on AEW TV at the same time, weeks after being fired by WWE.

His appearance on AEW television led to WWE sending a cease-and-desist letter to him and the Tony Khan-led company for violating a 12-month non-compete clause that kicked in after the Mexican wrestler was let go for violating multiple wellness regulations. However, last month, Andrade revealed that his attorney was able to resolve the situation with WWE and that he is now free to sign with any promotion he wishes to link up with, including AEW.

Since then, Andrade has made appearances for House of Glory and NJPW.

He is set to be in action at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 20 this weekend in a 10-man tag team match.
