Angelico Reportedly Refused A Lucha Underground Release

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while he’s been working in Europe and was not used on the season four tapings, Angelico asked for his release and was turned down by Lucha Underground. Jack Evans also asked for his release and is expected to receive it. Evans & Angelico loved Lucha Underground when it started, Many of those who signed the “7-year contracts” were told that they would be doing two seasons per year, so they figured it was like a 3.5-year deal and they’d be working constantly as opposed to a 7-year deal with little work.
