Angelico Says He Suffered Torn ACL And Meniscus At The End of Last Year

Angelico has confirmed the injury he suffered at the end of 2021. The AEW star hasn’t competed since the December 14th episode of AEW Dark, which was taped on December 3rd, and posted to Twitter on Thursday to confirm that he suffered an ACL and meniscus tear.
Angelico wrote:
“Official Announcement: Unfortunately the bad news is I can confirm the rumors. I suffered a torn ACL and meniscus at the end of 2021.
The good news as you can see below, is that my recovery is well ahead of schedule and my return to the ring is just around the corner!”
