Batista Says He Was Considered to Be Ronda Rousey’s Partner

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Batista says that he had been talked with about being Rousey’s partner. WWE’s original hope was to get the Rock, due to his huge mainstream stardom and history with Rousey, Triple H, and Stephanie. With Rock out, Batista would have been a strong backup plan, as his movie career is going very well, and he has a history with Triple H.
