Botched!: Nia Jax and Tamina Can’t Catch Sasha Banks, Xavier’s Boot Catches Nakamura, More

Hi, hello & welcome to Botched! WWE is on the fast lane to WrestleMania now, and it feels like some folks are getting a bit jumpy or nervous or whatever. There were a lot of hairy situations this week, and here’s five of them!

1. The curved part of Xavier’s boot catches Nakamura, apparently

Xavier Woods & Big E have largely put their exploits on hold so Kofi Kingston can chase the WWE Championship, but they had a big match with Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev on the Fastlane Kickoff Show. Maybe it’s been a while since Xavier had to kick anybody…

Also, I had no idea dude had curled boots like the Iron Sheik. Guess I should be paying more attention to these guys’ shoe game.

2. Nia & Tamina catch Sasha 1

The Usos have a trademark spot that’s been a trademark spot of tag teams in their family through the years. One member of the team tosses an opponent onto their partner’s shoulders, who hits a Samoan Drop. Jimmy & Jey even did it earlier on the Fastlane card. Nia Jax & Tamina wanted to do the move too…

To me, it looks like Nia wasn’t able to direct Sasha high enough in order for Tamina to catch her in the proper spot. Tamina had to adjust, and things didn’t look so good.

We’re not done here…

3. Nia & Tamina catch Sasha 2

For some reason, Sasha thought it would be a good idea to dive onto Nia & Tamina from the top rope.

I don’t know if Tamina lost her in the lights or what, but it was a pretty awkward moment in a match full of them.

4. Tamina does the worst thing possible to Beth Phoenix

It was a pretty rough night for Tamina, but she can at least say that she didn’t have as bad a time as Beth Phoenix. Not only did the Hall of Famer get roughed up by Nia & Tamina, but Tamina did something to Beth that

I mean…what kind of maniac can get through the night without their cell phone? Indeed, a fate worse than death.

5. The SD Live commentary team having some fun

Some say that WWE commentary is a stressful environment. I imagine having Vince McMahon screaming in my ear on a regular basis would be unpleasant. The SmackDown Live team seems to have some fun with it.

Your opinion on the quality of Corey Graves’ humor may vary, but Tom Phillips & Byron Saxton find it pretty hilarious. I also noticed Phillips corpsing on-camera while Graves was going on about Mandy Rose during Sunday’s Fastlane event. It’s nice to see & hear people having some fun around here.
