Braun Strowman is giving back, with the WWE alumnus donating $40,000 to help replace a playground at a Wisconsin school district. The Herman Neosho Rubicon School District posted to Facebook to note that Strowman, aka Adam Scherr, donated the money to help replace their aging playground.
The school district’s Facebook page wrote:
“Today was one of those moments that reminds you just how powerful community can be.
With an incredible $40,000 donation from Braun Strowman, we officially reached the final amount needed to replace our 25+ year-old school playground.
This project has been years in the making, fueled by the generosity, time, and heart of so many in our community—and today, it came full circle.
Braun shared how meaningful it was for him to give back to a school and community that’s so close to his heart. And in true form, he didn’t just show up—he connected. The kids were absolutely in awe (understandably!), but what stood out most was how he took the time to talk with them about hard work, dedication, and believing in what’s possible. It wasn’t just a donation—it was a moment our kids will remember. Here’s to new memories, new laughter, and a playground that will serve generations to come.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. This is what community looks like!”
Strowman was released from WWE in May of last year. He is continuing to use the name for his USA Network show Everything on the Menu With Braun Strowman, which returns on June 2nd.
