Brody King isn’t giving up after he lost his AEW World Championship match against MJF at Grand Slam Australia. As noted last night, MJF defeated King in the main event of the show, escaping with his title reign intact. King, who won the title shot after an Eliminator victory against the champion on the February 4th episode of Dynamite, appeared with Bandido in a post-show video in which he reacted tot he lost.
“Man,” King began. “After everything we went through. After everything you’ve [Bandido] been through! I was this close. Man! I was this close. But you know what? Now I can taste it.”
He continued, “Congratulations, Max; you just weaseled your way into another win. But I’m not gonna sit around feeling sorry for myself. Bring the biggest, bring the baddest. February 25th, I’m getting myself back into the world title hunt, and I’m looking for a fight.”
MJF is now moving into AEW Revolution, where he will face Hangman Page. Page defeated Andrade El Idolo at Grand Slam Australia and confronted the champion after his win over King on the show.
AEW Revolution takes place on March 15th from Los Angeles, California. It airs live on PPV.
