CM Punk had some verbal jabs for Roman Reigns following his win at WWE Elimination Chamber to seal the deal on their bout for WrestleMania 42. Punk defeated Finn Balor at Saturday night’s PLE in order to retain his World Heavyweight Championship on last night’s show. That makes his match with Reigns for the championship official for the main event of next month’s two-night PLE.

Reigns did not appear at Elimination Chamber, but he did post to social media during the show as he took to Twitter and wrote:

“Not sure who looked more tired — the crowd or the champion. Enjoy this final month of relevancy.”

Punk appeared on the pre-show and was asked about Reigns’ post. He fired back to note that Reigns wasn’t at the show and that his fighting champion status was keeping him sharp, while Reigns would be “rusty” by the time WrestleMania rolled around.

“He’s got time to tweet, but he doesn’t have time to come to Chicago,” Punk said. “Listen, Roman! Roman Reigns. Second highest arena gate record in company history, and you’re not #1 either. 19,346 people showed up in Chicago, because I am a fighting champion. And I will travel to Las Vegas — and yeah, I’m gonna be tired. And yeah, I’m gonna be beat up, and I’m gonna be bandaged. But that keeps me sharp, on the edge where I need to be. And for me, the action is the juice. You can sit at home, and we’re gonna call you Rusty Reigns when you show up in Las Vegas. And I got a GTS for you, and every one of your stupid family members.”

WrestleMania 42 will take place on April 18th and April 19th and emanates from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada for the second year in a row. Internationally, the show airs on Netflix. The announced card for the show at this point is as follows:

* World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk) vs. Roman Reigns.
* Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan.
* Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton.
* WWE Women’s Championship Match: Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley.
* Open Challenge: Brock Lesnar vs. TBD.
