Danhausen has arrived in WWE, and a new report has some additional details on the Very Nice, Very Evil one’s arrival in the company. The AEW alumnus debuted on last night’s show, being revealed as the person inside the mystery create that had been showing up on Raw and Smackdown the last couple of weeks.

Danhausen’s debut caused an initial pop from the crowd when he came out of the box, but it faded by the time he and his dancers made it into the ring. Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the arrival on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer said the decision to bring him on was one that some people pushed for, though there were others in the company who were not on board with the idea.

He noted, “It was not a unanimous decision or anything like that. I would guess that the people who didn’t want him are thinking like, ‘Hmm, sure didn’t work out so well this time.’ But time will tell. He’ll get another chance.“

Alvarez noted that Danhausen has “gotten himself very over with almost zero national television exposure” and speculated that he marketed on TV to increase his exposure before being sen d out in a WWE ambassador-style role. To be clear, Alvarez was not reporting that as fact, only what he believed Danhausen’s role to be going forward.

It was reported earlier that Danhausen has signed a multi-year deal with WWE and is expected to be on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. Raw takes place from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana and airs live on Netflix.
