Dave Sahadi Details Impact Wrestling Staffers Leaving Company for AEW in 2019

– During a recent interview with Beyond The Lens, former TNA media producer Dave Sahadi revealed that significant amount of the post-production team departed Impact Wrestling (now TNA Wrestling) to join AEW back in 2019. He also revealed that the staffers gave former Impact President Scott D’Amore about five days’ notice before their exit.

The producer revealed it was a “mass exodus” of post-production team members from Impact to AEW. Sahadi stated (via Fightful), “Then AEW came around and in October of 2019 came the mass exodus. That is when the entire post-production team of IMPACT, except for Eric Tompkins who’s the head right now, and Kenny Smith who I taught how to direct who’s directing the shows right now. ” He continued, “Everybody left to join AEW and gave Scott D’Amore a five-day notice.”

As noted, Sahadi recently exited MLW, leaving the door open to work with the promotion again later on.
